Sebastian Thelen studied business administration at Bayreuth University with focus on “taxation and accounting” and as well on “finance and banking”. He wrote his Master thesis about company pension schemes in Germany.
He obtained his Master at the age of 24 and worked for more than five years for two of the biggest accounting firms in Germany in the field of taxation. At the age of 27 only, he was appointed tax adviser. At the beginning of his self-employment he had been working for one of the most renowned law companies in Germany in the field of income tax. That is how Sebastian Thelen was able to gain profound professional experience not only in the area of limited liability companies and partnerships, but also in tax matters concerning private clients.
In his free time he studied law at Münster University focusing on company law, tax law and insolvency law. He obtained the degree “Master of Laws”.
Sebastian Thelen is fluent in English and has a very good knowledge of the French language as he studied a year at Sutton Valence in England and a semester at Pau University (Ecole de commerce) in France.
He is married and has three children.
